EAST COAST - INTERNATIONAL CLUB The International Club is located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Myrtle Beach has miles upon miles of sandy beaches, ocean waves, lots of sunshine, and plenty of fun for everyone. Fresh seafood restaurants and plenty of shops can be found in Myrtle Beach, as well. It is truly the perfect destination for a golfer and the entire family, golfers and non-golfers alike. Vacationers can stroll on the boardwalk and the pier, sail, fish, swim, or just relax - in addition to playing a round or two of golf. The clubhouse at the International Club is large (6,400 square feet) and has a distinctly European-inspired design. There is also a state of the art practice complex with a putting range and a driving range - there is even a GPS system. The Golf Shop is fully stocked and carries all of the necessary items and a few items to memorialize the day, as well. The restaurant and snack bar serve great food and drinks inside the clubhouse. When the International Club opened its course in 2000 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, it truly delighted those who love the game of golf and it quickly earned a reputation as one of the area's most enjoyable, challenging, and dynamic 18 hole courses. Course Details...
The International Club's golf course was designed by golf course architect, Willard Byrd. Through his design the course was given five sets of tees. As a result, the yardage for the par 72 course ranges from a fun 4,838 yards to 6,857 yards - enough to test even the best golfer's skills. The International Club has been praised and recognized by some of the top golfing sources, and individual players alike. In fact, the International Club has received the prestigious 4 Star rating from Golf Digest for being one of the Best Places to Play. As soon as any golfer - whether novice or expert - enters onto the grounds of the golf course, the beauty and unique layout of the course becomes evident.
Pines, oaks, and native grasses are scattered throughout the course - sometimes lining the fairways, and sometimes protecting the greens. Lakes and ponds are pristine, but also encourage an accurate shot. Sparkling white bunkers create an aesthetically pleasing contrast to the well-maintained greens and rolling fairways. The International Club is also know for having some of the fastest greens on the Grand Strand…just waiting for a 3 putt!!!
History...
Built in the year 2000, William Byrd designed this fabulous layout that is nestled among a mixture of hardwood and pine trees. This carefully manicured course is caressed by finger lakes that are fed by underground streams while many of the holes are surrounded by pristine wetlands. Being known for having exceptional greens year- round, the course will provide a challenge for players of all levels with five sets of tees.

The Barona Creek Golf Club features five individual tees to accommodate varying skill levels. Experienced players will enjoy the complexities of the Black tees, which offer 7,088 yards of open terrain with a slope of 139 and a rating of 74.5. Our most challenging set of tees, they're recommended for the professional or highly skilled amateur player with a handicap of 9 or less.
The greens on our Gold tees are only slightly shorter, with total yardage measuring 6,596. A comfortable challenge for most men golfers, they feature a slope of 133 and a rating of 72.1. A favorite among senior men, the Silver tees are intended for players with intermediate to advanced skill levels. Rated at 70.4, with a slope of 129, they incorporate 6,321 yards of open greens surrounded by tall grasses, unforgiving boulders, and deceptively treacherous water hazards.
Our Teal and Burgundy tees are open and inviting, offering players a relaxed pace, minimal changes in elevation, and total course yardage well under 6,000 yards. The Teal tees boast 5,813 yards at a 130 slope and a rating of 73.8, and are recommended for the serious woman player with a single digit handicap. The majority of women players will find the Burgundy tees provide the most enjoyable Barona Creek Golf Club experience. With 5,296 yards rated at 70.6, with a slope of 126, they are both challenging and forgiving, and encourage a leisurely pace.
